Do you have all the Catholic answers? The answer would most likely be “no”.

Common resources for Catholic adults would be:

Sacred Scripture – “Catechesis should take Scripture as inspiration, its fundamental curriculum, and its end because it strengthens faith, nourishes the soul, and nurtures the spiritual life. (National Directory for Catechesis, p. 70)

How do I know if a Bible is Catholic? A Catholic Bible will have an “imprimatur” which indicates that the book is free of errors in Catholic doctrine.

Catechism of the Catholic Church – This 904 page book is “…an authentic reference text for teaching Catholic doctrine…” (NDC, p. 71, emphasis added) Sacred Scripture is the foundation for this catechism together with the wisdom of the Patristic Fathers, doctors, and saints of the Catholic Church.

Compendium: Catechism of the Catholic Church – A much smaller book which references the above catechism in question/answer format.

United States Catholic Catechism for Adults – Printed by the USCCB (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops) in 2006, this is a contemporary, local (national) adaptation of the Catechism of the Catholic Church presented to adults who want to deepen their knowledge of the Catholic faith and the official Doctrines of the Catholic Church. This is a readable book that is often used in parishes for small discussion groups.
